Up in the Upstate (Part 2)

Well, this post is a little late, but here it is.

On Sunday we began the morning with the annual Skaneateles Rotary Club Fathers Day Pancake Breakfast. Dad was busy with the camera, so here is a picture of Tristan with Mom and his new blue baloon!

The delicious breakfast was followed by the baptism of Menemsha.
Where everyone gathered around for the blessing.

Nemmie was perfect through the whole event.

And what a beautiful baptism it was.

Here are the happy parents with their new little one.
And here we are with ours. :)

Up in the Upstate (Part 1)

Last weekend was filled with all flavors of excitement as we headed up to Skaneateles for Julia's birthday, Father's Day and the baptism of little Menemsha Voirrey Davis.

Julia had an amazing birthday cake hand made by Andy, Jay and Betsey. Here you can see it after we already dug into it. It had a layer of Watermelon, Honeydew, Cantaloupe and Pineapple and it was covered with Strawberries, Ugly Fruit, Blueberries, Cherries and Grapes! It was delicious!

Manemsha wanted a piece too but decided to stick to her milk diet.

Tristan and Edan had a lot of fun playing together and even wore matching outfits to show their friendship.

And Tristan demonstrated his new found talent of sucking his own toes.

We then headed out to a waterfall where we could all splash around and get wet.

It was a beautiful day to trounce through the woods.

Tristan trampled around in the water with his mom and Edan got her feet wet with her dad.

And Aunt Tricia enjoyed a Zenful moment in the waterfall.

The day was filled with happy babies and mommies and aunties and doggies! (And daddies hiding behind cameras)

Brooklyn Bridge

A few weeks ago we were visited by our friend, Matt, and decided to head out for the day in NYC. Since it was a beautiful weekend, and the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge, we took the long walk over and back.

We started with lunch at a park where Tristan loved splashing around in the fountain.

We then began the long walk over the beautiful bridge.

Little Tristan slept the whole way over the bridge and the whole way back.

What a great walk it was. :)

Tristan in Action!

This little boy is growing, growing, growing and is starting to mobilize.

Here he crawls towards the camera in an attempt to eat it while talking up a storm.

Sitting up is no problem for this big man and he always has a smile on his face. But don't let your guard down or he'll get you!

One of his favorite pastimes is jumping up and and down, and up and down, etcetera, etcetera...

And here he is with his newly assembled push along bike where he pulls himself up and practices standing.

He has also discovered the awesomeness of the bell and rings it whenever he can.

Tristan is still mastering his skills of standing and falling, though becoming quite good at both. :)
